As it is every April 4th, today is National Vitamin C Day!
This one hits close to home, as the volatile northeastern weather has left me with a lingering cold. Due to this, I have been CRUSHING vitamin C, as one of it’s best known functions is as an immunity booster. Other important health benefits of vitamin C include lowering blood pressure, as well as lowering the risk of heart disease and gout.
