As it is every December 17th, today is Wright Brothers Day!
Thanks to a Presidential Proclamation, December 17th is celebrated as Wright Brothers Day. It was on December 17, 1903, that Orville and Wilbur Wright successfully flew their plane in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. It was a dream and goal of their’s since a young age, and they finally succeeded in making it happen. As a result, on December 17, 1963, Congress approved a resolution declaring December 17th as Wright Brothers Day!
