As it is every September 13th, today is National Bald is Beautiful Day!
Being bald/balding can be a result of several different situations. One could lose their hair naturally, possibly due to age or heredity or maybe due to stress or illness. Most people look at this as a negative, but they don’t think of the positives. Less hair could mean less money spent on hair appointments or hair care in general. Also, being bald will probably save time, on a daily basis, on having to do one’s hair.
This one kinda hits close to home, as I too am foliclly-challenged. Several years ago, after coming to grips that my father has passed down his hair line, I made the difficult decision to start shaving my head…and it’s been awesome. I’ll admit, the number of times I’ve received compliments on “the shape of my head” is a little weird, but it takes me like 15 minutes every few days to keep my head fresh, so that’s a good thing. Also, the fully shaved head compliments the majestic face-mane kinda well, so there’s that…
